Purpose: At Amabnews, we adhere to the most ethical standards in all of our daily operations. This policy is intended to assure that each person on our team acts in a manner that is honest, adheres to all the relevant regulations and laws, as well as refraining from any actions based on collective/individual gains:

Gifts, Favors, and Payments Sent:

  • Favors, gifts, and other payments made by Amabnews must be in line with the accepted business practices, be of a limited value, conform to the law, and stay clear of embarrassing the company in public announcement.
  • Payments, commissions or payments to customers’ associates without the written consent/contract is not permitted under the policy of the company.

Gifts, Favors, Entertainment, and Payments Received:

  • Associates should not try to find or accept gifts, favours or entertainment without any legitimate business motive, specifically from businesses that are conducting or attempting to conduct deal with the Amabnews.
  • Exceptions are the common courtesies that are related to business practices, and gifts with a small value. But, strict rules are in place, particularly with regards to the gifts of suppliers.

Conflicts of Interest:

Associates should be aware of situations in which their personal interests clash with the interests of Amabnews and in case they do, promptly inform any conflicts to their immediate supervisor.  This can include ownership of outside businesses that we are working with, or competing with Amabnews or working in partnership with competitors and any other circumstance which could jeopardise Amabnews’s interests.

Confidential Information:

  • The disclosure or use of any private information is strictly prohibited and will be punished with disciplinary action, including the possibility of termination.

Compliance:

  • Any violation of this policy can result in disciplinary action, all the way to the possibility of termination. Associates are required to notify any violations which they became aware of.

Social Media Guidelines:

Introduction:

  • Social media posts must be based on the utmost discretion, since the posts can be efficaciously public statements with a long-lasting impact.
  • Associates must be aware of and abide with the policies of the company as laid out within the Employee Handbook.

Be Careful What You Post:

  • Associates are personally accountable for their online behaviour and inappropriate content can lead to disciplinary action or even the possibility of termination.
  • The material of the blog should reflect your personal views. Any references to Amabnews is explicitly identified as personal views.

Be Respectful and Professional:

  • Maintain professionalism and respect in all communication, and avoid postings that may be interpreted as offensive or threatening.
  • Respect the privacy of other people and avoid divulging incorrect or misleading information.

Be Honest and Accurate:

  • The accuracy of the information is crucial and any errors must be rectified immediately. All employees must be open about any changes made to prior posts.

Respect Laws and Confidentiality:

  • Associates must comply with the confidentiality and legal obligations, including copyright laws as well as privacy regulations. The confidential information of the company should not be released without authorization.

Report Your Concerns:

  • Concerns about potential policies that could be violated should be addressed immediately to Human Resources promptly. The retaliation against whistle-blowers is firmly forbidden.

Plagiarism and Fairness:

  • Plagiarism is not accepted at Amabnews. Reporters have to warrant that they are fair by offering everyone who are involved in the story with the chance to response.
