According to the USGS, the earthquake happened early on Sunday morning roughly 2.4 miles east-northeast of Alhambra and 2.3 miles north-northeast of South Pasadena.
As to the U.S. Geological Survey, the San Gabriel Valley and certain areas of Los Angeles experienced the seismic activity.
