Vitamix has recalled 569,000 blending containers and blade bases due to a laceration hazard. The issue arises from the blade base detaching, exposing blades and causing injuries.
Owners are advised to stop using affected products and contact Vitamix for a free repair kit, which includes a protective shroud to prevent blade exposure.
Recalled items from April 2017 to May 2024 were part of the Ascent and Venturist Series blenders, sold nationwide and online at major retailers like Costco and Target.
