Suspect and Charges
The suspect, 44-year-old Travis Eugene Posey of New Edinburg, was taken into custody and treated for non-life-threatening injuries after a shootout with law enforcement.
Posey will be charged with three counts of capital murder and is being held at the Ouachita County Detention Center. Additional charges are pending.

Video footage posted on social media showed at least one person lying in the parking lot, while another video captured multiple gunshots ringing out.
A witness who works at Holt Builder’s Supply across the street from the shooting said he heard “several rounds” and saw victims being medevaced from the scene.
